On 24–25 September 2025, Amsterdam’s RAI will host TechEx Europe, comprising of more than 8,000 attendees and 250+ speakers in five focused tracks: IoT Tech Expo, Cyber Security & Cloud Expo, AI & Big Data Expo, Digital Transformation Week, and Data Centre Expo. For technology executives navigating digital transformation and long-term technology strategy, the gathering offers a view of how these disciplines cross-pollinate and evolve.

Why the event matters for decision-makers

Technology investments are spread between IT and other stakeholders. There are choices around cloud migration, AI adoption, IoT deployment, cybersecurity, privacy, sovereignty and data centre strategy, and these affect resilience and competitiveness. TechEx Europe provides C-suite leaders with many opportunities to examine issues through multiple lenses.

The co-location of the five events makes it possible to explore inter-dependencies and get discrete briefings. How does AI support transformation? How cloud security underpins or undermines trust, or how does data centre resilience shape service delivery?

Track highlights

IoT Tech Expo

Sessions will consider IoT’s role in operations and supply chains. Speakers such as Jesper Toubøl (LEGO) and Saransh Lamba (Starbucks) will talk about how enterprises integrate IoT in manufacturing and customer engagement. Their perspectives, and those of your fellow professionals will be valuable for anyone considering investment in connected technologies at any scale.

Cybersecurity & Cloud Expo

Resilience remains a board-level priority – or does it? Speakers including Rini Icent (ABN AMRO), Daniela Almeida Lourenço (Hunkemöller) and Andrew Byrd (NATO) will discuss approaches to zero trust, threat detection, and securing the hybrid cloud. These sessions go beyond technical risk to cover EU data sovereignty, trust, compliance, and organisational readiness.

AI & Big Data Expo

Sessions covering operationalising AI and sector-specific disruption will address how move from pilot project to production. Senior voices are to include Maxim Romanovsky (Deutsche Bank), John Hearty (Mastercard) and Altaf Patel (PepsiCo). Each has their own take on governance, talent, resilience, AI governance, and data strategy. The talks will help you weigh investment opportunities against regulatory, ethical, environmental, and operational considerations.

Data Centre Expo

For enterprises rethinking infrastructure, sessions led by Elena Rehman of Microsoft, Simon Goldthorpe (Equinix) and NVIDIA’s Vladimir Prodanovic will look at investment, sustainability, and cyber-resilience. You’ll gain insights into balancing cost, performance, and ESR in a changing regulatory environments in the EU, the UK, and beyond.

Practical takeaways for the C-suite

  • Strategic perspectives: The ability to prioritise your focus, and hear peers’ reactions from multiple sectors.
  • Governance and risk: Guidance on regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, ethical AI, and environmental challenges.
  • Investment insight: Exposure to emerging technologies and infrastructures that may influence long-term capital movements.
  • Leadership exchange: Engagement with leaders facing similar challenges to you; in culture, skills, bugbears and obstacles.

How to make the most of attendance

  • Prioritise cross-track themes: Consider Attend keynotes in AI, and follow it up with dropping by a cybersecurity panel.
  • Prepare questions: Use panel discussions to test assumptions, proposed road-maps and risk frameworks.
  • Engage with selected exhibitors: With more than 200 vendors present, focus on those aligned (or at odds!) with your strategic priorities.

Conclusion

TechEx Europe 2025 is structured to serve technologists and the executives responsible for steering organisations through change. Drawing together voices from across AI, cloud, IoT, cybersecurity, and infrastructure, the event provides a single forum for reflection and learning.
