TechHQ is an official media partner of Cloud & Cyber Security Expo, arriving at ExCel London from March 11-12.

The event is just one of the UK’s largest technology event stack returning for its 12th outing under a new London Tech Show rebrand. Co-located events also include Cloud Expo Europe, DevOps Live, Smart IoT, Big Data & AI World, Blockchain Technology World, and Data Center World.

Some 21,000 international industry professionals are expected across the two days which will feature leaders such as Peter Eckley, CDO, Bank of England; Simon Asplen-Taylor, CDO, Rank Group; and Nick Hough-Robbins, CDO, Shell Retail IT, among others.

“We’re delighted to present the UK with the opportunity to access the industry’s best technology and expertise in one location, and look forward to this exciting two-day gathering of the tech world’s finest,” said Tom Vine, Group Event Director, CloserStill Media.

Across the two days, TechHQ’s focus will be on covering announcements, talking points, and interviews with leading cloud and cybersecurity experts — arguably the two biggest focuses of tech spend today.

In Cloud and Cyber Security Expo’s Keynote Theatre, Becky Pinkard, renowned cybersecurity practitioner and CISO at Aldermore bank, will examine how “breach normalization” is impacting both society and security itself.

“We have to consider how we are interacting if it’s secure, what data is being used, if that data is necessary, and help each other,” said Pinkard.

“We have to help encourage each other to continue to talk about this and to continue to bring it to light. I think that’s the only way we’re going to get where we need to be.”

On London Tech 2020,  Andy Stanford-Clark, Chief Technology Officer, IBM UK & Ireland, the event’s lead sponsor, said: “Our capital city is a major hub for innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship so this is the perfect opportunity to bring together leading experts from IBM, our clients, and our partners to demonstrate the very latest innovations that are empowering people to make change for good while transforming business and the way we work.”

The landmark UK tech event is set to feature 26 conference theatres hosting over 371 hours of content on the most pertinent technological issues and strategies in the ever-evolving tech industry.

Attendees to London Tech Show 2020 can expect to see leaders from Ford Motor Company, NHSX, Zurich Insurance, HMRC, Ticketmaster, BT, Vodafone, Lloyds Banking Group, Co-op Digital, Autotrader, Just Eat, BBC, Channel 4, HSBC, Natwest, RBS, Morgan Stanley, TomTom, British Heart Foundation, AXA Healthcare, giffgaff, Walmart, BP, British American Tobacco, MoneySuperMarket.com, Nestle, Marks & Spencer, London Stock Exchange, BNP Paribas and more.
